What Should I Expect From Midwifery Care
  • This is a brief overview of what your care will entail, the schedule you will most likely follow and routine procedures.
CPM Study
  • This is a very exciting study newly released in 2005, published in the British Medical Journal, proving (again) that homebirth is just as safe as the hospital.  "Planned home births for low-risk women in the United States are associated with similar safety and less medical intervention as low-risk hospital births."  It is a fascinating read.

APHA Resolution
  • This is the Resolution passed by the American Public Health Association that supports and recommends nation-wide adoption of the use of midwives and homebirth.
